The cottage is independently located about 300 metres from the main house and privacy is assured but farm noises and activities do happen nearby although we try to keep them to a minimum. The 2 x QS bedrooms are fitted with comfortable mattresses, electric blankets, allergy-free doonas and extra supply of blankets. Apart from having a wood fire and air conditioning in the living area, the bedrooms also have panel wall heaters. The bedrooms are configured differently and both available to choose from when only 1 couple using, then have exclusive use of the cottage. The well equipped kitchen not only has a range of teas and coffee but breakfast provisions are also supplied for all mornings (cooked /continental). The living area has a LCD TV, video and DVD player plus a CD player with I-pod port. There is a comprehensive selection of movies and CDs to choose from, also books, games and magazines. The living area opens onto the back deck with the BBQ and outdoor area, with views to the hills of Smeaton and neighbouring farmland. Extras provided include a complimentary bottle of wine and delivery of the weekend newspaper on Saturday morning. Extras available by arrangement include in-house massages from local masseuse.
